Woven Polyester Cord Strapping CWP 75
Woven polyester strapping is the most versatile and flexible of all non-metallic strapping and is used by most of our customers in the lumber industry that are doing “dump loads” and anything that requires a very high break strength. This is a comparable product with 3/4″ .020 Hi-Tensile steel strapping without the safety issues.
The buckles that we sell are a very important part of the strapping system strength since they are the joint that “keeps it all together”. Phosphate coated buckles are required for woven strap.
CWP strapping is the premium brand of strapping and is woven from high-quality polyester yarns making it the superior alternative to other types of strapping including steel, composite and extruded.
Our strapping is specifically formulated to meet or exceed the break strength of steel banding. Woven polyester strapping is a superior alternative for securing your product during shipping and it also provides a safer workplace for your employees and customers. This strapping has two important characteristics, namely elongation and memory, that allows it to stretch when your product encounters sudden shock from abrupt movements (dump loads etc.) in shipping and then go back to its original tension.

Highly Flexible Polyester Woven Cord Strapping
Due to a special woven process, it adapts to any shapes even the most difficult ones. It has a good memory. The very tighter weaving process gives a strong lateral resistance. It also helps to have very good absorption of shocks and vibrations.
A Very Strong Polyester Strapping:
Made with “High tenacity Low creep” polyester threads, which is actually the best quality of polyester thread, this strapping is strong as steel and can easily replace it. It also gives a strong resistance to friction. Made of PET, it offers a good resistance to temperature. Also resistant to UV rays, to dilute acid/alkali to bleaches and other oxidizing agents.
A Very Securing Woven Cord Strap:
It maintains the tensile strength longer and can be easily re tensioned if necessary. The specially developed non slip phosphate coated buckles are part of the system strength. The result is a high joint efficiency. The combination of low elongation with high recovery guarantees a good absorption of shocks and vibrations.
A Safer Polyester Woven Cord Strapping:
It is much safer for users when removed under tension because it does not have the dangerous “back lash” like steel banding. Without sharp edges, and lighter it will not cause back injuries or cuts when loading into a dispenser.
